Thread Bear

As promised , some pics of my new stash . My order from Sew and So arrived Monday morning , which I was very impressed with as I didn't place the order until Friday night.I'm very happy with their service and will use them again.

I thought you might like to see my beautiful embroidered teddy bears too. They were made by a very talented lady called Sammie who belongs to our charity stitch group. She did two for the fundraiser and when I saw pictures of them , I knew I had to have one , so she made one specially for me. Then , I was lucky enough to win another one in the raffle , I was so excited.

So , here we have on the left "Katy Bear" , modelling the new threads from Wye , and on the right "Sammie Bear" , modelling the new threads from Sew and So .The threads shown below will be used for Bent Creeks' Hen , which I do intend to stitch up properly , though it probably won't be until next year now. I really want to get Spirit of the Eagle and Christmas Recipe finished.These threads , I ordered just because. Do we really need a reason? Here is another small finish from recently. This was done as part of a send along for Stitch for Charity. I really enjoyed it , as I have had my eye on another flamingo chart for quite a while , something else on my never ending to do list.
