Liebster blog award.

I have been awarded the Liebster blog award by Judit from Jucos' Creative World .( http://juco22.blogspot.co.uk )

I am still unable to add links at the moment , not sure what blogger is playing at , I'll have to play and try to sort it out.

Anyway , Liebster is a German word meaning favourite,dearest or beloved , and is awarded to up-coming blogs with less than 200 followers.

The rules of the award are as follows (roughly as I used my own version of short hand to copy them out ,lol).

1) Choose 5 blogs with less than 200 followers to pass the award on to.

2) Pass on your thanks to the person who gave you the award.

3) Post on your blog with a list of people to pass the award on to , and leave comments on their blogs so that they know they have been given this award.

4) Share five random things about yourself that people do not know .

So, five things about me , this is hard as I did this ages ago for another award ,lol .

1)The only veg I would eat cooked when I was a kid is carrots , everything else I had raw .

2)My thumbs used to pop in and out of the sockets , but thankfully they haven't done it in a long time .

3)My first pet rabbit was house trained and would walk on a collar and lead .

4)I am a fast reader and read each of the Twilight books in a day.

5)I used to keep caterpillars in jars until they became moths.

Weird , I know , lol .

The seven things about myself is the part I was struggling with ,lol , so here goes.

1. I like banana sandwiches , when I was a kid I had it with ketchup (I know) , now I like it with peanut butter .

2. I drink tea at home and other peoples' houses , but drink coffee if I'm out .

3. I do not wear a watch , and haven't for years.

4. I have my ears pierced three times , and haven't worn earrings for about nine years. I can still get earrings in the first holes , but not the others though.

5. I am very short sighted , and also have a condition that makes my eyes a funny shape , so even with glasses my vision is not brilliant.

6. I hate shopping , especially for shoes .

7. I love to read , and could read pretty well before starting school . I have just finished my 43rd book of the year.

Now to pass it on to 15 other blogs . This was difficult too ,as I follow over 200 blogs , but I have chosen ones that I read regularly and enjoy a lot. There are a lot more , but I'm trying to stick to the rules . Some may have already been given this award ,and some may be no award blogs , but to be honest , I can't be doing with faffing about checking.

First , the ten things about me :

1. I have met Geoff Capes at a budgie show.

2. I have met Lord Litchfield and taken his photograph , though I suppose it would be more interesting if he'd taken my photo.

3. I had four pet rabbits when I found out I was allergic to them. My favourite one would let me take him for walks on a collar and lead , and was house trained.

4. I love raw peas , but can't stand them cooked.

5. When I was a kid, I could pick nettles without getting stung , but had a really bad reaction if I touched strawberry plants.

6. I must be the only person who can miss Birmingham whilst trying to get there . I am not good at directions , or map reading apparently , lol.

7. I used to talk and walk in my sleep.

8. I had measles , German measles, chicken pox, scarlet fever , and double pneumonia before I was a year old , but have never had mumps .

9. I have watched Casualty from the very beginning , and still don't like to miss it.

10. Me and my husband were set up on a blind date , neither having any expectations of it , and here we are 14 years later.
