Just like Eeyore

I'm feeling rather gloomy.
My stitching bug has done a bunk , and I just can't seem to get back into it. I have lots of things that need doing ,but am going nowhere fast. Help !
Last Sunday , we decided to go to the coast for the day , and though it was chilly if you were out of the sun , it was a lovely day.

Whilst it was quite busy in the town , the beach was fairly empty. The sea was still a bit too cold for paddling though . That said , I have been paddling in the sea in November , well , you can't go to the beach and not dip your toes in the water , can you ? I know some people are opposed to these wind farms , but I'm not . OK , they are not on my doorstep , but I don't think I'd have a problem if they were. At the end of the day , it is a sustainable energy source , surely that should be more important than aesthetics ? And , actually , I find them quite calming , and very graceful.

The kids were fascinated by this starfish , and we eventually had to catch it in the net and take it down to the sea.

Karan recently had a giveaway , and I won ! Look what lovely goodies arrived for me on Friday

Fab or what ? And , today I found these in a charity shop ,which are great . But , new stash and still no stitchy bug. what to do ?

Thanks for dropping by ,

Cath

Wonderful stitchy stash! :-) And I agree with you on the windmills... they make me feel like I live in Holland. I think they're beautiful!

Your stitch bug will come back soon. Sometimes you just need to take a little time off - or I find that working a little each day on some sort of charity project - like a square for Love Quilts - usually helps me. :-)

Blessings!

Great seaside pics - we have a wind farm nearby, and I think they are ok...

Love the new stash! I recently picked up the Ultimate book of Cross Stitch at a charity shop, too!

I've been in some sort of funk, too, Cath. Don't know if it is the coming of spring or the fact that I'm trying to finish this block #4 of Christmas at Hawk Run Hollow and it is all browns which I despise stitching with! Hope you get your desire to stitch back quickly...

Love your seaside photos--I've never seen a live starfish before! Fascinating...

Great pics. I don't mind the wind farms either..... & they're waaay better than a nuclear plant on your doorstep!
Hope the stitchy bug comes back soon, so you can enjoy the new stash. What about starting a whole new project... that sometimes help. :0)

Hi Cath
Wholeheartedly agree with the wind farms and think there should be more of them around! As Karan said, much better than a nuclear plant!

Glad you had a good day at the seaside. I find starfish fascinating!

I do hope your stitching bug comes back again very soon. :)
