A friend in need.

Can anyone please help ? My friends Nan is cross stitching a set of place mats with dragons on them. She has finished four , but wants to make a set of six and has run out of DMC 781 . this thread number has been discontinued and replaced with 782 , which is a slightly different shade. I don't have any in my stash , but have managed to swap some with members of the charity group , however , I'm not sure it will be enough , so if anyone out there has any DMC 781 , that they'd be prepared to trade , please contact me . Happy to send another DMC thread in return , thanks . Also , a plea for me this time , does anyone know if there are any charts available from the film "Chicken Run" ? We have some friends who are getting married in October , and they are big Chicken Run fans , so I thought it would be good to make them a sampler . If not , it looks like the old graph paper will be making an entrance. Thanks again , Cath

That sucks when a color is discontinued and you need it! I looked in my stash and have none, unfortunately. If I happen across any, I will let you know.

Chicken Run?? Is that a kiddie movie? Sounds fun!

I have a one little chicken kit waiting for me to stitch it.

If I could I woud take some of those miniature chickens who have feathers on their toes too!
I dont know what they are in english but wish you understand..
I am sorry for my funny english and bad grammar..... :)

Sorry...I just ran up to have a look but I only have about 10 inches of the stuff: she is more than welcome to it if she wants it though ;-)
