Kalispera!

Or Good Evening.
I finished my Greek square last night ,after spending most of the day doing all the back stitch. Not my favourite part of stitching , but it makes a lot of difference .

And a close up . I had to wash it as had a little whoops with a cup of tea. We have coasters that like to stay attached to the mugs , lol .And this is what I've been doing today .

Talant is one of the girls who is living in Rachels' Place ,so she will get her own personal quilt .I will also be stitching a Cherished Teddy square for her quilt .And this is a square for a baby quilt for Amys' Creche .

We 're having a bit of a crap weekend so I needed an instant fix . I will probably do a few more from this set of charts over the next few weeks.

Thanks for dropping by ,

Cath

Lots of beautiful stitching, Cath! I get to start a square for Angel Quilts today. It's fun to bless someone with our stitching!

Such pretty pieces! I agree backstitching takes a lot of time but it sure makes a piece pop! Happy stitching-

Love the Greek square Cath. I did the Dutch one and the back stitch certainly brings them alive :-))

I have to agree that backstitch makes a difference on many pieces. Your squares look great! Well done.

I love the dancing Greek couple. Can you tell me where you got the pattern? I live in the states. Is it available only in the UK.
Thanks!
