"If you can count the number of projects you have going , you need to begin another, so you have a varied range of complexity from the very simple 'mind-less' ones to those that demand undivided attention." (Laura Early).

Snowman.

No , thankfully we have not been blessed with more of the white stuff , I have been busy working on my Christmas Recipe.
I have had a couple of days of serious stitchers' butt , one day each of the last couple of weekends , and boy did I enjoy it .
This is what it looked like after last Saturdays efforts :
And here is how it looks after this past weekend
The bits of pink paper are covering up my kids' names . I decided to personalise it with all our names , so have added some extra boxes.
I'm really enjoying working on it again ,and looking forward to a finish .
This is my start on my proper square for the fund raising quilt. It's a Greek couple dancing and as we went to Greece for our honeymoon , I just had to stitch it . There are lots of squares from around the world , so I'm sure the quilt will be lovely when it's finished .Still no stash from Thread Bear . I'll leave it a few more days then get in touch to see if their order has arrived yet .
After a lot of deliberating , I've decided not to start my Dads' sampler yet . I just can't cope with having too many projects on the go at once , I can't decide which to work on so end up doing none of them , lol . Still , hopefully I'll have another finish soon so I feel more able to get on with it .
I'm still gobsmacked at the number of comments on Dandy Dreams , so a big Thank you again to everyone .
I'm on 97 followers now , so only three more to go and I'll have a giveaway .
Thanks for dropping by ,
Cath

Wow this will be on your wall this Christmas, I loved stitching the candles, bottom right hand corner, they really came alive. Your greek couple dancing sounds intresting, can't wait to see more of it.

Your Christmas Recipe looks great and I think personalizing it is a wonderful idea. It gives the piece more meaning :)

I like the idea of a quilt using stitched squares representing different countries and look forward to seeing your dancing Greek couple.
