Exchange for Lainey

As you probably know , Lainey and I were doing a year long seasonal exchange which finished recently . I sent Lainey's package off a while ago , but she has been ill (thankfully feeling better now) . So , time to reveal what I sent .
I wanted something seasonal , preferable with all the seasons and found the freebies by the Stitcherhood , so this is what I came up with .
I originally though of making a kind of hanger which the pieces could be put in and out , but wasn't too happy with the idea , so instead I planned and gridded and came up with this . If you notice the triangles on the ends of the blocks , they helped turn this flat piece of stitching into this.

The back stitch enabled me to whip stitch it together , like you would a biscornu.(So now you know Lainey , lol) I did the ends first and half way across the edge, then stuffed it before finishing the closure. I think it turned out pretty good .It was lovely to stitch , though if I was going to do it again I'd probably change out some colours. This was done using the recommended DMC on the chart .

And here's a pic of the rest of the things I sent . Though Lainey will probably have better pics ,she usually does , lol .

Thanks for dropping by ,

Cath

Hello Cath!
I am sorry I have not visited Your sweet blog for sometimes.
I changed my blog-adresse bacause there were some severe problems at my blogs html-code and my blog went "broken".

I have continued to blog and promise to visit your blog often again :)

The ornament with
the four-seasons theme was amazing and your way to finishing was great :)

With blessings,
Lumiruusu
