Angels stitch on Earth

I was most surprised to get a little package in the post yesterday , and totally stunned by the contents.
If you remember , last year I joined the Stitch it and Pass it On blog , and was the first person to stitch and send some lovely Christmas ornaments . Of course , being the first one to send means being the last one to receive , but not a problem.
We hit a few glitches along the way, and then a major one cropped up . One of the members said she posted it out in April , but it was never received ,so Tracy didn't get any stitching , and also lost her chart. I was sad ,as it meant I wouldn't get anything either , but hey ho ,these things can and do happen .
Unknown to me , Hazel had volunteered to be an Angel and stitch me an ornament as one of the charts was in a JCS mag , and that is what I received yesterday , along with some gorgeous ribbons and thread.

I absolutely love this ornament , it's beautiful , and I can't wait to put it up at Christmas. Thank you again Hazel , for a wonderful surprise , and for making my week a lot brighter. It gave me back a little faith in human nature .

I will be back soon with some stitching of my own , and other news .

Thanks for dropping by ,

Cath

Hi Cath
Just catching up with you today and so sorry to hear about your husband's job. I hope something comes up for him soon.
Loved the pretty scarves you knitted for your family and the tiny booties for the hospital. Glad you had a lovely surprise in the post from your friend, that ornament is beautiful.
Hope you enjoy the remainder of your summer hols.
