Anyway, I was so busy enjoying the stitching , I didn't even take progress pics , lol . You just get to see the finished item .
I was very lucky to find a couple of nice square frames in charity shops. Do you know how hard it is to find square frames? I would have liked to have it framed properly , but time and funds did not allow so I did it myself ,and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.
"Wren" by Twilleys of Stamford . Started 05/06/12 . Completed 15/06/12 . Framed 23/06/12.
The wren was finished on Wednesday ,and on Thursday I started this fairy for LQUK .
This is what it looked like yesterday morning .
And here it is , done , last night. The back stitch went a lot quicker than I expected , so it was a lovely finish. It's a good job I liked it though, as My daughter has chosen a few charts for me to stitch , lol.
Now , it's back to LK ABC lessons and time to choose a smaller project to go along with it .
Thanks for dropping by ,
Cath
