Didn't someone mention Spring?

I think they forgot to tell everyone .

This started some time in the early hours of Friday morning, though it wasn't bad enough for the snow day the kids got.
We went into town in the morning and had a few flurries on and off throughout the day. It started to snow properly around 6pm , and it hasn't really stopped since. Yep , it's still coming.
The kids went out to play this morning and I trudged down to the local shop for a few bits and bobs, then we went out on the back field for a bit of sledging and snowball fun . Couldn't stay for too long though as the driving wind is very cold , so back home for warm drinks and snacks.
Think I might do some stitching next.
 Take care everyone .
 Cath

Brrr Cath that looks mighty cold,it is cold here today its the beast from the east.Last Monday as mentioned on my blog post it was warm enough (with a coat ) to sit outside and have tea and cake. Also I saw a bluebell in someones garden so what is that all about. Hope all the family are well sounds as if they enjoy the snow. Bet the chooks dont.

Oh gosh, we've managed to escape more snow so far, although it has been very cold. Stay warm in your stitching nest :)
Best wishes.

No snow here unfortunately. I know I must be mad but I really wanted one last good flurry! It is bitterly cold in that easterly wind though.
