So , this is what I did on Saturday.
I've always had plans to have a Stitching Chicken , and finally got round to doing it. It is taken from Bent Creeks' "Hen" chart , which I flipped and added to.
Originally I started it on some lovely speckled aida , but the creamy beige colour just got lost in it , so I had to change plans. The threads are the DMC ones given on the chart , though I think I may do another one at some point with different colours , so it looks like my chooks.
Not sure what to do with the stitched piece now though , but I'm sure I'll come up with something.
