"If you can count the number of projects you have going , you need to begin another, so you have a varied range of complexity from the very simple 'mind-less' ones to those that demand undivided attention." (Laura Early).

Catching up.

Hi everyone , I am still here , just had a hectic couple of weeks .
Both kids back to school , and my Son started full time this year . After a couple of wobbly days (but not the first two) he seems to be settling in well now, and enjoying it . We've also had my Daughters' birthday party this last Friday , her birthday is tomorrow ,so the excitement has been building up .
Not much time or inclination for crafting really , way too much happening and the stresses are still around , with even more things causing grief , but we're battling along .
Stitching wise , I have some charity squares to show , name logos for quilts, some are for Rachel's Place and others for Hope Harbour , a one off we are doing for a foster home in South Africa . There are two without names as two new children have joined Rachel's Place , but we don't have their names yet .
I also stitched two squares for the Send Along , which I enjoyed .
They are all done on white aida , it's the lighting on my pictures that make it look blue , lol .
I do have a couple of other completed stitchy projects , but can't show them yet as they are for gifts . but I will be able to soon .
Also , I want to thank Cathy at The Inspired Needle , I won a giveaway on her blog recently, and here is what I won
Another bad picture , for some reason the scanner decided to include the blank space at the top . Still , you get the idea .
I know this is odd , with it being an Americana design , and I'm English , but I do like it and will stitch it ,so thanks again Cathy .
And, thanks for dropping by ,
Cath
