A bit of knitting

First off, I hope all those who have been affected by Sandy are safe and well ,and that things can get back to normal for you soon.

I thought I'd show a bit of knitting for now as I am hoping to do more stitching soon that will make an update more interesting.

In the last three months I have made three swirly scarves, one was a thank you gift , one was for my daughter and one for me , so here goes.
This one was a gift ,and went down very well. Luckily I picked the persons' favourite colour .
Of course ,my daughter had to get in on the act ,and she chose her own yarn. This was not as nice to work with, but came out very pretty .

And this one is mine to go with my red winter coat , which I may actually get out later as my hands are frozen sitting here ,lol .

The kids are at the school Halloween disco later , so haven't got to go out again until just before 5pm .
 Thanks for dropping by,
 Cath

Ok, I give in. The swirly wool which has been in my cupboard for over a year will have to be mastered. Thank you for enabling me lol. The scarves are lovely: very inspiring xx
