Things received.

Finally , I can show some of the secret stitching I have been doing.
First up , Lainey has received the exchange parcel I sent to her. We are doing a year long/seasonal exchange with stitched pieces and extras. I really enjoyed doing these two Halloween stitches , and tried something new with the making up.I like the ruffled ribbon look , but have never done it before . I think it looks quite effective on this flat ornament .Then , I also did this Plumpkin pillow . Both of these are LK designs , and I love them . I did use slightly different colours on the Plumpkin , and didn't have the rec. charms , but they turned out ok.
This little sheep ornament if the gift that escaped the packaging in the last exchange, so I'm glad they decided to behave on their journey this time . I just couldn't resist this when I saw it , and I'm glad to say that Lainey loves it too.
And this is the whole package I sent . Lots of stitchy fabric, some sweeties ,hankies, a purse, notebook and bag , and the sheep of course.
And , I have stitched , finished and sent the first of my Pay It Forward packages. I made up this free design from Beth Twist at Heartstring Samplers into a pillow and sent it to Tricia. she received it in record time ( I posted it on Monday and it got to her is the USA on Thursday , pretty good ,especially when you consider I sent something to Stevenage in the UK at the same time , and that arrived Thursday too!)

Tricia has been in touch and said she loves it , and will be offering the PIF on her blog soon.

I have stitched the piece for Kates' PIF and will be making it up and posting it as soon as I can , then I'll have to decide what to do for the giveaway one.

Thanks for dropping by, I'll be back soon with more charity stitches.

I saw these wonderful pieces over on Lainey's blog -- cute cute cute! The "my other car is a broom" is funnny - somedays I feel that witchy - LOL! The "Give Thanks" pieces are beautiful - love the way you finished them. Happy stitching-
